Students will learn and perform monologues and partner scenes and learn how to audition, self- tape and table read. All student performances will be filmed and students will receive an acting reel and headshots at the end of the term.

Pre-production students will learn the process of how to bring a project to life once a script is completed. Students will also learn industry etiquette and professionalism.

This course will introduce students to the business aspect of creating and producing content. The instruction, which includes modules on securing intellectual property, above-the-line deals and distribution models, will also examine the history, evolution and current state of various business practices that will take students from project inception through release.

The work of established designers is examined through research, film design assignments, set visits and guest speakers.
This workshop style course will allow first time screenwriters to develop their own screenplay. Throughout the course students will conceptualize, develop and compose the first draft of an original script. The successive courses will focus on rewriting the original script. Students will also learn how to register their work and secure copyright protection.
